Add a kart to your garage

How to record a kart in Apex — its chassis, engine and default setups — from the My Kart area, and how to make it your primary kart.

Recording your karts lets Apex pre-fill the right kart and setup when you create events and sessions. You manage them on the My Kart page (sidebar → My Kart), whose header reads My Kart / Manage Your Kart Garage.

What you need

  • Your kart's details: name, number, chassis, engine, class, year and weight (all but the name are optional).

Steps

  1. In the sidebar, select My Kart.
  2. Select Add Kart.
  3. Fill in the kart's details — name, number, chassis brand/model, engine brand/model, class, year and weight.
  4. (Optional) Choose the kart's default Dry and Wet setups.
  5. Select Create Kart.

What you'll see

A confirmation — "Kart created successfully." — and the kart appears in your garage as a card with its status (Active, Retired or For Sale) and details. Use View Details to open it, or the card menu to Edit or Delete it.

Tips

  • Set the kart as your primary kart on your Profile so Apex uses it as the default elsewhere.
  • Give each kart its default Dry and Wet setups so the right one is offered for the conditions.
  • Use the status badge to keep retired or for-sale karts separate from your active one.

Frequently asked questions

What details does a kart need? Only a name is essential; chassis, engine, class, year, weight and default setups are all optional but useful.

How do I make this my main kart? Set it as your primary kart on your Profile — Apex then defaults to it when creating events and in the setup and tyre tools.

Can I keep old karts without them getting in the way? Yes — set their status to Retired or For Sale to keep them on record but out of the way.

How do I remove a kart? Use the card menu's Delete and confirm; deleting cannot be undone.
