Analyse an event with the AI
How to ask Apex's AI about your performance across a whole event, using the Event Analysis card on the event detail page.
Event Analysis looks across all the sessions in one event and answers your questions about lap time, setup and strategy in plain language. You find it on the event detail page (sidebar → Events, then open an event). The answer streams in as it's written.
What you need
- An event with at least one session of recorded laps.
Steps
- In the sidebar, select Events and open the event.
- Find the Event Analysis card.
- Type a question in "Ask about this event…", or select one of the suggested prompts.
- Send your question and read the streamed reply.
What you'll see
The AI's answer appears progressively as it's generated, drawing on the event's sessions. Suggested prompts include improving your lap time, comparing your fastest laps across sessions, looking at setup differences, and how weather affected your performance. Conversations can be kept for later reference.
Tips
- Be specific — mentioning a session, a corner or a condition gets a more focused answer.
- Use the suggested prompts as a starting point, then ask follow-ups.

Frequently asked questions
What can Event Analysis tell me? It comments on your performance across the event's sessions — lap-time improvement, differences between your best and worst laps, setup impact and weather effects.
Is the analysis based on my real data? Yes — it works from the sessions and laps recorded in that event.
Why does the answer appear gradually? The AI streams its response as it writes, so you see it build up rather than waiting for the whole thing at once.
