Compare two sessions

How to put two or more track sessions side by side in Apex to see exactly where the time goes, using the Session Comparison page.

The comparison view lines up as many as four sessions, each given its own colour and a label (S1–S4). It shows their best laps, a lap-by-lap delta chart, their kart setups side by side, and a table of key metrics with the best value in each row highlighted. You reach it from the Sessions list (sidebar → Sessions) or Compare in the sidebar.

What you need

  • At least two sessions in Apex that you want to compare.

Steps

  1. In the sidebar, select Sessions.
  2. Expand a track card and select two or more sessions.
  3. Select Compare.
  4. On the comparison page, fine-tune the line-up if you like — filter by track, by weather (All / Dry / Wet), or search by name, then pick sessions from the list (sorted fastest first).

What you'll see

  • Overview cards — one per session showing its best lap and details; select a card to open that session.
  • Lap Time Deltas — a chart of how each session's lap times differ, lap by lap.
  • Kart Configuration — the setups side by side, with the differences highlighted.
  • Lap-by-Lap comparison — a table of best lap, peak speed, peak RPM, average speed and consistency, with the best value in each row highlighted.

Tips

  • You can compare up to four sessions at once; each gets a colour and an S1–S4 label.
  • Sessions without a valid best lap aren't offered for comparison.
  • Use the weather filter to compare like with like (all dry, or all wet).

Frequently asked questions

How many sessions can I compare at once? Up to four.

Why isn't one of my sessions in the picker? Sessions without a recorded best lap time are excluded from the comparison list.

What does the delta chart show? The lap-by-lap time difference between the selected sessions, so you can see which laps and which sessions were quicker.

Can I see setup differences too? Yes — the Kart Configuration section lists the setups side by side and highlights where they differ.
