Review a session in detail

How to read everything Apex records for a single track session — lap times, sectors, telemetry charts, the track map and AI analysis — on the session detail page.

Opening a session from the Sessions list (sidebar → Sessions) shows its detail page: a summary of the run, then collapsible sections covering laps, telemetry, the GPS map, weather, kart setup and AI-written analysis. This is where you go to understand a single outing lap by lap.

What you need

  • A session already in Apex (uploaded from an AiM file).

The summary

At the top, four stat cards show the headline numbers:

  • Total Laps — how many laps were recorded.
  • Best Lap — your fastest lap time.
  • Peak Speed — the highest speed reached, in km/h.
  • Peak RPM — the highest engine RPM reached.

A row of chips shows the date, time, track, session type, weather and setup.

The sections

  • Lap Times — every lap with its time, Δ Best (gap to your fastest lap) and each sector time, with the quickest and slowest sectors highlighted. Out-laps, in-laps and your BEST lap are tagged. Toggles let you hide in/out laps and sort by gap instead of lap number.
  • Telemetry Visualisation — charts of speed, RPM, throttle and braking across the lap.
  • GPS Lap Trace — your lap drawn on a map of the track.
  • Turn Analysis — how you performed corner by corner.
  • Session Conditions (Weather) — temperature and a Dry/Wet badge.
  • Kart Configuration — the setup used for this session.
  • AI Analysis — AI-written commentary on the run.
  • Notes — anything saved with the session.

Tips

  • Each section can be collapsed by tapping its heading, so you can focus on what matters.
  • In Lap Times, hide in/out laps to compare only your flying laps.
  • Select a lap in the telemetry or map view to focus on it.

Frequently asked questions

What does "Δ Best" mean in the lap table? It's the gap between that lap and your best lap in the session — your fastest lap is marked BEST.

Why are some laps marked "Out lap" or "In lap"? Those are the laps leaving and returning to the pits; they aren't flying laps. You can hide them with the toggle to compare only your full-speed laps.

Where do the telemetry charts come from? From the channels in your uploaded AiM file — speed, RPM, throttle, braking and more, plotted across the lap.

Can I rename the session or change its type here? Yes — the session name and the session-type badge at the top of the page are both editable in place.
